Robert Lee Barnes

Robert Lee Barnes, 73, of Bay passed away Tuesday, September 19, 2023 at St. Bernards Medical Center. He was born August 19, 1950 in Leachville to the late Earnest and Uleda Barnes. Robert enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by a brother, Allen Barnes and his sister, Ernestine Barnes.

Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Brenda Barnes of the home; his son, Jason (Beth) Barnes of Jonesboro; brother, Tony Barnes of Jonesboro; 2 grandchildren, Ellie Barnes and Jaxon Barnes both of Jonesboro and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be Friday, September 22, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. in Emerson Memorial Chapel with Bro. Don Blackmore officiating. Burial will follow at Worley Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 9:00-10:00 a.m. prior to the service.
