Robbie J. Coleman

Robbie J. Coleman, 71, of Jonesboro, died Wednesday, October 21, 2009, at St. Bernards Medical Center.

Born in East Prairie, Missouri, Robbie lived several years in Slidell, Louisiana, before moving to Jonesboro in 1997. She was a homemaker and a member of Apple Hill Church of Christ. Robbie was preceded in death by a son, Steven W. Coleman; by her mother, Grace Mullenix Caudle; by a sister, Earline Nohsey; and by a brother, Edward Mullenix.

Survivors include:
Her husband: John G. Coleman of the home;

2 sons and daughters-in-law: Ronnie, Sr. and Carol Coleman, and Terry and Bobbie Coleman, all of Slidell;and Kathy Coleman.

3 brothers: Bob Mullenix of Lakeland, Florida, Don Mullenix of Jonesboro, and Jerry Mullenix of Hannibal, Missouri; and

8 grandchildren: Michael Coleman, Eric Coleman, Jason Coleman, Ronnie Coleman, Jr., Matthew Coleman, Amber Coleman Smith, Danielle Coleman and Tyler Coleman.

Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 in Emerson Memorial Chapel with James King officiating. Burial will follow in Philadelphia Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Sunday afternoon from 1:30 until service time in the chapel.
