Rita Mary Taylor

Rita Mary West Taylor, 68 of Jonesboro, passed from this life Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at St. Bernards Hospital. She was born in Chicago, Illinois April 28, 1947 to Jack Kelly and Mary Maljak Kelly. She was an OB nurse at St. Bernards and was of the Baptist belief. Rita is preceded in death by her parents, and brother Steve Rinaldi.

Survivors include her son, Chris and Isabel Taylor of Wylie, Texas; daughter, Marilyn Kaye and Troy Hendrix of Leesburg, Virginia; brothers, Dennis Lysek of Sterling Heights, Michigan; Mike Orff of Plainfield, Illinois and Patrick Orff of Bloomington, Illinois; sister, Theresa McIntyre of Cypress, Texas; 1 grandchild, Haley Taylor of Jonesboro.


Visitation will be Saturday, January 9, 2016 at Emerson Memorial Chapel in Jonesboro from 1:00 – 2:00 pm with funeral service starting at 2:00 pm. Bro. Jerry Jolly will be officiating. Burial will be at Pine Log Cemetery with Emerson Funeral Home in charge.

Serving as pallbearers will be Dennis Lysek, Peter Jones, Kenny Dunnigan, Ellis Pinchback, Marcus Herring and Kelly Grojean.
