Rita Maynard Beggs

Rita Maynard Beggs, a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister, passed away on November 20, 2024, at the age of 82 in Jonesboro, AR.

She was a strong, fierce, obstinate, loyal, kind, and loving woman who devoted her life to taking care of those she loved.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Maynard Jr.; her daughter, Mary Ritter; and her siblings, Carlton, Harold, and Roscoe.

She is survived by her four daughters, Elaine Morgan, Pauline Pollard, Kathy Garcia, and Daisy Weston; her sons-in-law, Dennis Morgan, Marty Ritter, and Jerry Weston; her grandchildren, Chris (Shannon), Tabitha (Josh), Nick, Jake (Sandra), Maxx (Khristina), and Stormee; and her great-grandchildren, Naomi, Blaze, Ben, Brodie, Bryleigh, Maddie, Daeja, Charlotte, Chase, Mila, Zoe & Ezra. She is also survived by her siblings, Lee, Larry, Lovia, Sally, Juanita, and Clem.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Herman Baptist Church Fellowship Hall in Bono, AR. Burial will be private.
