Rigmor Loberg

Rigmor Loberg, 90, of Jonesboro, died Friday, November 21, 2008 at her home. She has lived in Jonesboro since 1963, moving here from West Allis, Wisconsin. Rigmor was a member of the First United Methodist Church, was a board member of HYTROL Conveyor Company and the Norwegian-Danish Methodist Conference.

Rigmor was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Loberg; one son, Dan Loberg; parents, Andrew and Anna Hermansen; and one sister, Marie Larson.

Survivors include sons, David Loberg and Wife Holly, Houston, Texas; Steven Loberg, Chapel Hill, North Carolina; daughters, Judi Loberg and companion Cyndi Oneal, Chapel Hill, North Carolina; and Ruth Poston, Memphis, Tennessee; Grandchildren, Rachel Gould, Elizabeth Carroll, Sarah LaFleur, Abigail Loberg, Phillip Poston, Kirsten Loe, Kirk Loberg and 15 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 10:00 am, Monday, November 24, 2008 at St. Marks Episcopal Church with The Reverend JoAnn Barker officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements with burial to follow in Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery. Pallbearers are Phillip Poston, Kirk Loberg, David Loe, Paul LaFleur, Kenneth Carroll, and Toby Gould. Honorary Pallbearers are Debra Lewis, David and Pat Vaughn, Jean Caldwell, Thacker Cargill, Peggy & Ira Pierce, Rebekah Cole, Barbara Gray, Robert and Mary Kay Jones, Micki and Don Johnston, Arthur and Annie Wallace, Anne and Wayne Gruber, Lester Jarlsberg, Sherry Stringer, Carol Smith, Pearletha Prunty, Eddie Scalfe, Doris Simpson, Sarah Williams, Carolyn York, Gregg Goodner, Sam Leone, Capt. Barbara Summerfield. Visitation will be from 4-6 Sunday night at Emerson Funeral Home.
