Ricky Eugene Willison

Ricky Eugene Willison, 59, of Walnut Ridge, passed away on June 29, 2024, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. He was born in Thayer, MO, on May 5, 1965, to the late Noel and Claudia Willison. In addition to his parents, Ricky is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Arthur and Maudie Long, and his paternal grandparents, Ward and Lottie Willison.

Ricky grew up around Mammoth Spring, where he graduated high school with the class of 1983. Afterward, he went to Walnut Ridge, where he spent most of his life. Some of Ricky's favorite activities were hunting and fishing. He loved deer hunting and shared his love of fishing with his children when they were younger. When he wasn't outside, he was catching up on college basketball. Ricky was an avid fan of Arkansas Razorbacks basketball. But above all, his greatest joy was being with his family.

Ricky is survived by his daughters, Holly Cain and Amanda Olson (Mike), both of Hoxie; sisters, Delores Lancaster (Jansen) of Ellisnore, MO, and Debbie Rose (Dennis) of Mammoth Springs; three grandchildren, Harley, Adalyn, and Reece; step-mother, Betty Willison; nephew, Mark Jeffrey Allen (Marissa); and a host of friends and loved ones.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, July 13, 2024 at Hoxie Church of Christ, 603 SW Broad St. in Hoxie, AR. Burial will be private.
