Ricky Gene Johnson Jr.

Ricky Gene Johnson Jr. 33, of Jonesboro, died Monday, April 2, 2018 at his home.  He was a lifetime resident of Jonesboro and was of the Baptist belief.  Ricky was preceded in death by his grandparents, one sister, one brother and Jacqueline Miller, the mother of his children.

Survivors include his father, Ricky Gene Johnson Sr., of Jennings Florida; stepmother, Theresa Simmons of Jennings; mother, Mary Tate and husband Richard of Valdosta, Georgia; daughters, Bri Timms of Lake City; Mykala Johnson of Colorado; Tapanga Blurton of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; brother, Zachary Johnson of Georgia; sisters, Misty Johnson of Paragould; Tiffany Johnson of Jonesboro; Madison Johnson of Jennings; grandmother, Margaret Willis of Lake City; several stepbrothers and stepsisters.

Graveside services will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, April 7, 2018, at Trinity Cemetery with Richard Tate officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.  Pallbearers are Jerry Willis, Austin Willis, Benny Wright, Richard Tate, Chris Barber, Ricky Gene Johnson Sr and Terry Oswald. Honorary pallbearers are Harvey Willis and Misty Johnson. There will be no public visitation.
