Ricky David Duhon, 70, of Jonesboro passed from this life on Thursday, May 9, 2024. He was born on October 23, 1953, in Texas City, Texas, to the late Leo and Una Duhon.

Ricky's journey was marked by a commitment to family, work, and simple joys. He earned his stripes at Arkansas State University-Beebe, graduating with an associate's degree. Ricky found solace and delight in the simple pleasures of life, often seen basking in the sun at the beach or relishing moments shared over a meal with his loved ones. However, his true joy stemmed from the role of grandpa, where his heart found its deepest fulfillment.

Professionally, Ricky worked as a night manager at Riceland, where he served since 2011. His love for sports, particularly his unwavering support for the Arkansas Razorbacks, and his passion for music were defining aspects of his personality. Yet, perhaps most notably, Ricky was renowned for his quick wit and an arsenal of dad jokes that never failed to bring smiles to those around him.

In the tapestry of his life, Ricky endured profound losses, preceded in death by his parents and his beloved granddaughter, Brandi Michelle Winn. Left to cherish his memory are his son, Brian Duhon (Lela), and daughter, Susan Winn (James). He is also survived by his siblings: Jerry Duhon (Toyoka), Robert Duhon (Sandy), Mike Duhon (Lua), Tommy Duhon (Marilyn), Tony Duhon (Mary Jo), and Pat Ancona (Benny).

Ricky's legacy continues through his adoring grandchildren, Zachary Winn, Alan Ward (Shawna), Brittney Corpier (Jacob), Ross Ward, and Bryant Merriman, as well as his great-grandchildren, Felix, Mia, Jasper, Atlas, Vincent, Jake, and Millie.

In honoring Ricky's wishes, all services will be held privately.
