Rickey Thomas Kemper

Rickey Thomas Kemper, 65, of Roseville, Ohio passed from this life Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at Genesis Hospital in Zanesville, Ohio. He was born April 20, 1951 to the late William and Helen Kemper in Trumann, Arkansas.

Rickey has been residing in the Ohio area since 2005 after coming from Searcy. The Boy Scouts of America was a big part in his life. He was an Assistant Scout Master to Troop 96. Rickey was an Avid Razorback fan. He was in Trumann graduating Class of 1969. He also played football on the Trumann championship team in 1965 that he was very proud of.

In addition to his parents, Rickey is preceded in death by his grandparents.

Rickey is survived by his wife, Dallas Kemper, of 35 years; two sons: Ryan (Vanessa) Kemper of Crooksville, Ohio and Derek Kemper of Paragould, Arkansas; three brothers: Keith Kemper of Paragould, Ray(Margie) Kemper of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Scott(Sonya) Kemper of Hardy, Arkansas; three sisters: Carole Patton of Morrison, Illinois, Vickie Benton of Centerton Arkansas, and Sandi(David) Harper of Walnut Ridge ,Arkansas; four grandchildren: Logan Forker, Zane Kemper, and Kathrine Kemper, and Jayden Hardwick.

A visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Monday, November 14, 2016 at Emerson Funeral Home.

A funeral service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, November 15 at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Reverend Chase Green officiating. Burial will follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery. Active pallbearers will include: Ryan Kemper, Derek Kemper, Christopher Stewart, Scott Kemper, Cody Harper, William Patton, Revis Kemper, and Bill Volckmann.
