Rickey Leon Golden

Rickey Leon Golden, 61, of Lake City, left this life on May 13, 2020 surrounded by his loving family at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House.

Rickey was born in Benton Harbor, Michigan to the late Leon and Janice Carter Golden. He was a member of the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Monette. Rickey was a graduate of Monette High School Class of 1976. He was the owner and operator of Golden Construction Solutions. Rickey loved singing and was a member of several gospel groups. He enjoyed being around others, making people laugh, and having fun.

Rickey is survived by his sister, Belinda Hansen (Steve) of Jonesboro; wife, Diane Golden of Monette; and uncle, Taylor Golden of Kemp, Texas; and several cousins.

Visitation will be Tuesday, May 19, 2020, from 4:30-6:00 p.m. at Emerson Funeral Home. A service will follow at 6:00 p.m. Burial will be private.

Honorary Pallbearers will be: Jake Gilley, Monte Emery, Arlon Woodruff, Danny Qualls, Ronnie Qualls, Cade Qualls, Allen Earnhart, Phillip Wilcox, Keith Haddock, Bud Moxley, Tim Childers, Tommy Lee Steed, Tommy Stracener Jr., Michael Stracener, Josh Stump, Scott McLaughlin, and Danny Keith Qualls.
