Richard Monroe Stewart

Richard Monroe Stewart, age 76, passed from this life Thursday, November 12, 2015 at his home. He was born July 24, 1939 to Elliott Stewart and Mae Belle Stewart in Lake City, Arkansas. Richard was self employed with his business, Stewart Automotive Parts. He was a member of Prospect Baptist Church. He enjoyed the senior citizens and loved going to Branson. Richard is preceded in death by his parents and 2 sisters, Edna Gatlin and Lillian Pace.

Survivors include: A very special and long time friend, Nell Crews; 2 sons, Rick and his wife Donna Stewart and Steve Stewart, both of Jonesboro; 1 brother, James and his wife Ellen Stewart of Lake City; 5 grandchildren, Logan, Jason, Rachel, Alexis and Eli; 2 great grandchildren, Conner and Isla

Visitation will be Sunday, November 15, 2015 at Emerson Memorial Chapel from 2:00 pm – 3:00 p.m. Service will begin at 3:00 pm with Mike Book officiating.

Honorary pallbearers will be Phil Bridger, Paul Spurlock, Wes Gatlin, Joe Richardson and the Craighead Senior Life Center.

Prospect Baptist Church will have dinner for family and friends at the church after the service.
