Richard "Darrell" Smith

Richard “Darrell” Smith, 78, of Brookland passed away on Monday, May 10, 2021 at St. Bernard’s Medical Center. He was born March 5, 1943 to the late Eugene and Mildred Smith. Darrell was a member of Dixie Baptist Church.

Darrell was self-employed for most of his adult life as a Heat and Air Contractor. In addition to his parents, Darrell was preceded in death by two sons: Tim Smith and Alan Smith; brothers, Norris Smith and Larry Smith.

Survivors include his wife, Faye Smith of the home; one son, Darrell Lyn (Cindy) Smith of Brookland; one stepson, Terry (Lisa) Williams of Brookland; one stepdaughter, Tammy (Weldon) Newboles of Paragould; 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be at the Pavilion in Pine Log Cemetery on Thursday, May 13, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. The service will be officiated by Jerry Thompson.
