Richard Schneider, Sr.

Richard E. Schneider, Sr. passed away Thursday, November 29, 2007 at his home in Jonesboro. He was born in Montgomery City, Missouri and was the son of John Henry and Bertha (Thorpe) Schneider.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Pauline (Moore) Schneider; children, Carol (Dennis) McKay, Richard (Manie) Schneider, Nancy (Carl) Adams, Suzanne (John) Ayers, Larry (Mary) and Gary (Nancy) Schneider, Rosemary (Grant) Williams, Mary DeMay, Deborah Schneider; the late Robert Schneider and Earl Schneider; brother Russell Jim Wilson Schneider.

He was a grandfather of 28, great-grandfather of 39, great-great grandfather of 5, uncle, great-uncle, cousin and friend to many.

He served in the US Navy and was stationed in New London, CT. He retired from Emerson Electric.

Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations to Sovereign Grace Missionary Baptist Church will be appreciated.
