Richard Roush, 57, of Jonesboro, died Wednesday, October 13, 2021, at his residence. He had lived in Jonesboro for the past 20 years, moving here from Trumann. He was born in Lake City to Harvey and Virble Roush. Richard was a member and attended Temple Baptist Church. As an electrician, he was very proud he graduated from Delta Vo-Tech with an Industrial Equipment Technology degree. He served his country as a member of the US Army National Guard 875 Battalion. He was said to be a “Jack of all trades, and a master of none.” There was not much anything he couldn’t do. He loved spending time with his family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by, Sisters, Diane Roush, Mary Roush, Patricia Cambron, Violet Burlison, and Brenda Houston Rose; brothers, Jimmy Roush, David Roush and Daniel Roush.
Survivors include is brother, Robby Roush and wife Linda of Huntington, Arkansas; sisters, Peggy Lisk of Lake City; Linda Russell of Bay; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM. Monday, October 18, 2021, at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Burial will follow at Pine Log Cemetery with Davy Joe Lisk, Rylee Lisk, Matthew Wheely, Bobby Wheely, and Jim Rose serving as pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers are Davy Johnathan Lisk, Johnathan Lisk and Greg McAnally. Visitation will be from 1:00 until service time on Monday.
