Richard "Ricky" Leon Sartin

Richard “Rickey” Leon Sartin, 67, passed from this life on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at the Continued Care Hospital in Jonesboro, AR. Rickey was born January 21, 1954, in Nettleton, to the late Anuel and Thelma Sartin. In addition to his parents, Rickey is preceded in death by two sisters, Louise Findley and Yvonne DeLaCruz.

Rickey liked spending his time outdoors, where you could mostly find him fishing. When he wasn’t out fishing, he would be watching old Western movies. Most importantly, Rickey loved spending time with his family and friends.

Ricky is survived by his children, Chris Sartin, of Hardy, and Monica Sartin, of  Florence, KY; a great niece and nephew who were like his children, Jacob and Alex Findley, of Hardy; brothers, Raymond Sartin (Joy), Sonny Sartin (Sharon), and Gary Sartin (Sheila), all of Jonesboro; sisters, Barbara Lemmons, Linda Johnson (Dub), Thelma Meeks, Judy Brown (Butch), Donna Pinnick (Don), all of Jonesboro, and Diana Ball (Al), of Brookland; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, friends, and loved ones.

A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
