Richard Edmund David

Richard David, 84, of Jonesboro passed away Tuesday, July 12, 2022 at Encompass Health. He was born June 14, 1938 in Haverhill, Massachusetts to the late Victor and Florence David. Richard was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He retired after 25 years from Nibco as a supervisor. Richard enjoyed playing music and golfing.

In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Gerard David, Ronald David and 1 sister, Louise Toth.

Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Sue David of the home; son, Gerard David of Jonesboro; 2 daughters, Danielle (Stan) Bowman of Auburn, Alabama, Theresa (Wayne) Spencer of Woodruff, South Carolina; 1 sister, Sheila Chase of Houston, Texas; 5 grandchildren: Allison (Craig) Allen of Auburn, Alabama, Daniel Spencer of Woodruff, South Carolina, Aaron (Karlee) Bowman of Notasulga, Alabama, Alex Spencer of Charleston, South Carolina, Holly David of Jonesboro and 7 great grandchildren.
