Richard Dewayne Broadway

Richard Dewayne Broadway, 92, of Lonoke, Arkansas, departed this life on Sunday, April 26, 2026, at Baptist Health in Little Rock.

He was born on August 22, 1933, in Bono, Arkansas, to the late Raymond and Neva Mae Broadaway. Richard was a proud veteran of the United States Army and was the recipient of a Medal of Valor. He was a man of strength, honor, and devotion who cherished his family and friends throughout his life.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Raymond Broadaway, Jr.

Richard leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife, Edwina Broadway; two daughters, Chemain Skinner of Ransom, WV and Michelle Mees of Cabot, Arkansas; two sons, Chris Broadway of Alexandria, Virginia, Stephen Broadway of New York; two brothers, Kenny Broadaway of Bono and Stacy Broadaway of Bono; three sisters, Revetta Kirksey of Gibraltar, Michigan, Janice Shirley of Bono, and Sharon Hill of Lake City; grandchildren, Cadyn Harris, Joseph Cook, Teagan Skinner, Sunny Broadway, and Jaxson Broadaway; along with several nieces, nephews, and a lifetime of friends.

Visitation will be held Thursday, April 30, 2026, at Old Enterprise General Baptist Church beginning at 1:00 p.m., with funeral services following at 2:00 p.m. Matt Hill will officiate. Burial will follow at Ole Enterprise Cemetery.

Pallbearers will include all the nephews.
