Rex Huffman

Rex Huffman, 82, of Jonesboro, died Saturday night December 23, 2023, at his home.  He had lived in Jonesboro for the past 20 years, moving here from San Diego, California.  He was born in Lamar, Colorado on October 4, 1941 to Wilbur and Lillian Huffman.  Having served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War, he retired after 20 years.  He also taught welding to others in the public school system, a skill he learned in the Navy. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother.

Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Alice Huffman, of Jonesboro; son, Robert Huffman of San Diego; daughter, Lorrie Huffman of Jonesboro; sisters, Jody Kibler of Jonesboro; Marcy Gouge of Baltimore, Maryland; grandchild, Ian Huffman; and two great grandchildren, Evelyn and Ariel.
