Retha Taylor Clark, 81, of Jonesboro, went to her eternal home on Monday, April 23, 2018.  She had lived in Jonesboro for 45 years, moving here from Kosciusko, Mississippi.  She graduated from Forrest City High School. She loved time with her family, especially, her grandchildren.  Retha was very active as a servant of the Lord, helping whenever and wherever she could in various ministries and capacities at Central Baptist Church.  She was preceded in death by her son, Kenny Clark, her parents, two brothers and one sister.

Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Harold Clark, of the home; son, Kevin Clark (Karen) of Jonesboro; daughter, Kimberly Clark Winger (Steve) of Lubbock, Texas; brother, Lloyd Taylor of Forrest City; grandchildren, Katelyn Easom, Austin Clark, Aaron Winger, Mason Clark, Faith Winger, and David Winger; great grandchildren, Raelyn Easom and Rhett Easom.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Thursday, April 26, 2018 at the Emerson Memorial Chapel with Brother Don Blackmore and Brother Larry Bailey officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.  Pianist will be granddaughter, Faith Winger. Burial will be at Jonesboro Memorial Park with Ronald Taylor, Donald Taylor, David Winger, Mason Clark, Lloyd Taylor Jr. and Joey McGowen serving as pallbearers.  Honorary pallbearers are Winston P. “Sonny” Foster, Austin Clark, Aaron Winger, and the Burgess Sunday School Class.  Visitation will be from 5-7 PM, Wednesday night at Emerson Funeral Home.
