Reina Margaret Cook, 64, died Thursday morning, May 20, in Jonesboro, Arkansas, following a brief illness.
Margaret, or Marge as she was known to family and friends, was the daughter of Howard and Ella Cook of Jonesboro. She was born August 17, 1956.
She was predeceased by her father, grandparents Howard and Ola Mae Cook, grandparents Curtis and Velvie Johnson, and several other uncles, aunts and cousins.
Marge attended Jonesboro Public Schools, and was a journalism graduate at Arkansas State University. She was of the Protestant faith.
Marge loved the outdoors and spent several years in Florida and Virginia Beach, Virginia where she was an independent contractor. She loved the ocean views from her apartment in Virginia. She especially loved visiting and participating in activities with family and friends.
She is survived by her mother Ella Mae Cook of the home in Jonesboro, sister Debbie Lane (Dwight) of Fayetteville, Arkansas, brother, Tim Cook of Jonesboro and his children, Ashlyn Cook of Jonesboro, Nikolas Cook and Romani Cook of Paragould, niece Bridget Brewer of Jonesboro, nephew Brandon Lane of Fayetteville, and great nieces Tiffany and Haley Brewer of Jonesboro.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 22, 2021 at Caldwell Chapel in Craighead County.
Arrangements are under the direction of Emerson Funeral Home of Jonesboro.
