Regina Mae Graham, 84, of Jonesboro, passed away Thursday, April 13, 2017, at St. Beranrds Medical Center.
Regina was born in northern Craighead County and lived all of her life in the Jonesboro area. She was a 1951 graduate of Valley View High School and spent most of her working career in retail clothing and fashion. Regina worked as a sales associate for Dillard's Department Store and The Colony Shop before venturing into her own retail shops. She operated Regina's Dress Shop on Gee Street and Kid's Castaways on East Nettleton Avenue before retiring.
Regina is a long-time member of Walnut Street Baptist Church where she is a member of the Ron Hatley Sunday school class. She enjoyed gardening and simply being around and involved with people. Regina was preceded in death by her parents: Herman and Mary Ella Maynard Kee; her first husband, Tommy Gibson and little brother, Johnny W. Kee.
Survivors include her husband, Buddy Graham of the home;
1 son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Tonja Gibson of Jonesboro;
2 daughters and sons-in-law; Jana and Jim Washam of Jonesboro and Phyllis and Jerry Tinker of Florissant, Missouri;
1 sister and brother-in-law: Joyce and Ben Honeycutt of Jonesboro;
6 grandchildren and their spouses: Alex Washam and Rachel Washam, both of Jonesboro, Josh Gibson, stationed in Colorado Springs with the US Army, Stephanie Parker of Harrisburg, and Priscilla and Patrick Frost and Stephanie and Jason Gargac, all of Florissant, Missouri; and
4 great grandchildren: Lilly Betts, Dawson Betts, Caroline Frost and Jacob Frost.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 17, 2017, in Emerson Memorial Chapel with Rev. Glen Putman and Rev. Jerry Parker officiating. Burial will follow in Jonesboro Memorial Park. Visitation will be 1:00 p.m.-2:00 p.m. Monday prior to the service.
Active pallbearers include Alex Washam, Josh Gibson, Donnie Sullivan, Roger Carter, George Walton and Bobby Barr. Honorary pallbearers include members of the Ron Hatley Sunday school class and the 1951 Class of Valley View High School.
