Regina Faye Erwin, 86, of Jonesboro, departed this life on Thursday, February 26, 2026, at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on February 21, 1940, in Light, Arkansas, to the late Walter and Nancy Lands.
Regina was a faithful member of Southwest Church of Christ. Her faith and devotion to her church family were central to her life. She found joy in the simple pleasures—cheering on the St. Louis Cardinals, traveling to Branson for getaways, dining out, watching classic westerns, and most of all, spending precious time with her family and friends. Regina’s warmth, kindness, and steady presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bill Erwin;four sisters, Velma Gill, Mary Lou Boozer, Carolyn Lands, and Ruth Cook; and two brothers, Edward Lands, Eugene Lands
She is survived by her son, Barry Erwin of Jonesboro; her daughter, Karen Erwin of Jonesboro; one brother, Mike Lands (Denita) of North Little Rock; two sisters, Betty Sue Foster of Jonesboro and June Kemp (Lonnie) of Jonesboro; along with several nieces, nephews, and a lifetime of cherished friends.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 3, 2026, beginning at 9:30 a.m., with funeral services to follow at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be private. Jimmy Adcox will be officiating.
Regina’s legacy of love, faith, and devotion to her family will forever remain in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
