Rebecca Lea “Becky” Cline, 51, of Bono, died Sunday at her home of natural causes.
Born in Anna, Illinois, Becky moved to Jonesboro in 1961. She currently worked as the school nurse for Westside High School and worked several years for NEA Womens Clinic in Jonesboro. Becky also served as assistant Dance Team coach and volleyball coach at Westside.
She was a member of the Seventh Day Church of God in Jonesboro and was preceded in death by her sister, Debbie Goodpasture Etheridge.
Survivors include her husband: Jim “Peewee” Cline of the home;
1 daughter: Kassey Cline of the home;
Her parents: Bill and Dorothy Goodpasture of Jonesboro;
2 brothers: John Goodpasture of Little Rock, and Bill Goodpasture of Ashburn, Virginia; and, her three special puppy dogs, “Cookie,” “Sweet Pea,” and “Kit Kat.”
Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Dewayne Ford officiating. Burial will be private.
Pallbearers include Lester Wilson, Mickey Dement, Todd Wilcox, James Perkins, and the faculty and staff of Westside High School.
For lasting memorials, the family asks that consideration be given to St. Jude's Childrens Hospital in Memphis.
Visitation will be held Tuesday evening, 5-8, at Emerson Funeral Home.
