Rebecca Maurine Easley

Rebecca Maurine Easley, age 16, of Brookland, went to be with the Lord alongside her two brothers, Andrew Easley and Christian Miguel “Peanut” Easley and her aunt Natalie Andrews on Sunday, July 15, 2012.

Rebecca was born in Batesville and lived most of her life in Brookland. She was a senior at Brookland School, and loved to ride the bus home from school. Her hobbies included music, swimming, playing the Wii, getting manicures and pedicures, and hanging out with her Pop Pop. She loved to go places with Monique Brown and Felix Kinsey, and she enjoyed holding and caring for babies.

Rebecca was preceded in death by two brothers, Andrew Easley and Christian Easley, her grandfather, Edward Easley and one aunt, Natalie Andrews.

Survivors include her mother, Shelia Andrews of the home; her father, Gary Easley of Paragould; 2 brothers, Michael Easley of Paragould and her twin Charlie Easley of the home; 1 sisters, Selena Easley, of the home; her maternal grandparents, Jimmy and Martha Andrews of Brookland; her paternal grandmother, Barbara Easley of Paragould; her paternal great grandmother, Ann Brown of St. Louis; and aunts and uncles, Chris and Melissa Blalock, Jonathan and Amy Andrews, Chance Andrews, Terry and Zelda Brannon, Jeff Easley, David Easley, Ron and Tina Hudspeth, and Kirk Easley all of N.E. Arkansas.


Funeral services will be held Saturday Afternoon at 3:00 in Emerson Memorial Chapel with Rev. B.J. Barnhill, Rev. Scot Lloyd, and Rev. Eddie Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Log Cemetery.

Active pallbearers include Felix Kinsey, Brian Belcher, Anthony Hunt, Scott Keen, Wendell Elder, and Brian Gibbs.

Honorary pallbearers include the Special Education teachers and staff of Brookland Middle School and aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation will be held Friday evening, 6-8, at Emerson Funeral Home.
