Reba Marie McKeel, 95, of Jonesboro passed from this life Saturday, April 9 2016 at Greene Acres Nursing Home in Paragould. She was born September 12, 1920 in Cave City to the late Ezra and Eunice Montgomery. Reba has lived in Jonesboro for 25 years coming from Rector. She was a teacher for many years in Arnold, Missouri. Reba was a member of the Southside Church of Christ here in Jonesboro. She enjoyed working in the yard, gardening, flowers and crocheting.
In addition to her parents, Reba was preceded in death by her husband, Ethridge McKeel; infant son, Joe McKeel; and a granddaughter, Christine McKeel Tiller.
Survivors include her son, Danny (Phyllis) McKeel; daughter, Carolyn Hill; 3 grandchildren: Robert Hill, David McKeel, Tim Hill; 6 great grandchildren: Jennifer Hill, Trevor Hill, Riley McKeel, Mason McKeel, Conner Hill, Ian Hill and 1 great-great grandchild, Xaiden.
Funeral service will be Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at 10:00 am in Emerson Memorial Chapel with Jimmy Ferguson officiating. Burial will follow in Woodland Heights Cemetery in Rector.
Visitation will be from 9:00-10:00 am prior to service.
