Raymond, L. Hillier, 69, of Lake City passed from this life on Friday, September 1, 2017 at The Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. He was born to Jack and Wilma Hillier on September 30, 1947 in Flint, Michigan. Raymond enjoyed camping, fishing, being outdoors, and sports; especially the Detroit Lions and Detroit Tigers. Raymond is preceded in death by his father, Jack Hillier; mother, Wilma Ellis; step-father, Glenn Ellis; step-mother, Marilouise Hillier; and sisters, Lori Coates and Linda Selix.

Raymond is survived by his wife Martha Hillier of Lake City; daughters, Yvonne Pintar (Matt) of Wayne, Michigan, Michelle Kelm (Patrick) of Plymouth, Michigan, Stephanie Hillier (Joe) Guel of Wayne, Michigan and Carrie Brewer of Jonesboro; sons, Roger Harris of Jonesboro and Jonathan Harris of Jonesboro; brothers, Dennis Hillier (Veva), Keith Shands, David Shands (Nancy); Brother in law, Bob Coates; sister, Lois Evans, Becky Gilbert (Jim), and Lisa Rensel. Grandchildren, Korinn Pintar, Valarie Pintar, Raquel Pintar, Julia Kelm, Kristina Kelm, Shayna Guel, Joelle Guel, Trey Harris, Drake Harris, Caleb Harris, Hunter Harris, Dakota Harris, Alexandria Harris, and Kristyn Wilde. Raymond also leaves behind several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at 4:30 pm at Emerson Funeral Home. Burial will be private. There will be two visitations with the first being on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 from 2-4 pm and the second visitation will be held from 2-4:30 pm on Wednesday leading up to service time.
