Raymond Coy

Raymond Coy, 95, of Brookland died Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at St. Bernards Medical Center. Raymond was a proud veteran of the United States Army, serving as a Tech Sergeant during W.W. II. He was a Christian and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping.

Raymond was preceded in death by his parents Everett and Minnie Stokes Coy.

He is survived by three sisters, Fredia Bryant of Jonesboro, Erma Doty of Bay, and Marie Lewis of Milton, Washington; three nephews, Don Lewis of Seattle, Dennis Bryant and Glen Bryant both of Jonesboro; three nieces, Patricia Patterson of Boise, Idaho, Linda Olson and Peggy Woodard of Jonesboro; and extended family, Bill, Diane, Courtney and Tyler Andrews of Brookland.

Pallbearers will be Dennis Bryant, Glen Bryant, Don Lewis, Greg Olson, Danny Woodard, and Bill Andrews.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday, July 3, at 2 p.m. in Emerson Memorial Chapel with Rev. Andy Neal and Don Lewis officiating, and burial at Oaklawn Cemetery.

Visitation will be Monday, July 2, from 5-7 p.m. at Emerson Funeral Home.
