Rayford Holt

Rayford Holt, 93 of Bay, passed from this life Tuesday, October 6, 2020 at his home. He was born May 3, 1927 in Ash Flat to the late Otis Clark Holt and Georgie Myrtle Holt.

Rayford has lived in the Bay area most of his life and attended the Bay Church of Christ. He retired from General Electric and went to work driving cars for Blackwell Baldwin. Rayford served our great nation in the Army during the Korean War. He enjoyed his job driving cars and also loved gardening. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Rayford is preceded in death by his wife, Ivy Holt and his son, Randy Holt.

He is survived by his daughter, Rita (Henry) Rogers of Bay; grandchildren, Shawn (Jamie) Rogers of Pea Ridge and Taffy (Justin) Hawkins of Leachville; great-grandchildren Ethan, Matthew and Jase Rogers of Pea Ridge and Jansen and Addison Hawkins of Leachville as well as a special aunt, Wilnoree Fowler of East Wenatchee, WA.
