Raul Marin

Raul Marin, 70, of Cash died September 12, 2013 at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro. Raul was born January 31, 1943 in Monterrey, Mexico to Delfino Marin and Maria Del Refugio Marin.

Raul and Patsy met in Chicago and later moved to Arkansas in 1991. He was a self employed diesel mechanic and was of the Catholic belief while attending Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.

He was preceded in death by both parents, Delfino Marin and Del Refugio Marin; two sisters, Elva Marin and Kika Marin; and two brothers, Oscar Marin and Delfino Marin.

He was survived by his wife Patsy Marin of the home; three sons, Raul Marin Jr. (Mariela) of San Antonio, Texas, Joey Richmond of Fairbury, IL, Thomas Richmond (Jessica) of Forrest, IL; three daughters, Crystal Boner of Fairbury, IL, Yvette Awai (Ryan) of Brookland, AR, Betty White of Collinsville, IL; two brothers, David Marin of Monterrrey, Mexico and Carlos Marin of Houston, TX; 18 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be Sunday afternoon at 2pm in the Emerson Memorial Chapel with Brother Shawn Brandon officiating. Burial will follow at Trinity Cemetery with Emerson Funeral Home in charge of all arrangements.

Visitation will be Saturday evening from 5-7pm at Emerson Funeral Home.
