Randle Lee Woolem

October 15, 1920 — February 13, 2016

Randle Lee Woolem, 95, of Lake City, died Saturday, February 13, 2016 at St. Bernard’s Medical Center. He was born in New Madrid, Missouri on October 15, 1920 to the late Bernard and Sarah Weatherly Woolem. Randle had lived in Lake City since 1995, moving there from St. Louis. He was a retired metal fabricator for Cable Powers Company and of the Assembly of God belief. Randle was a loving husband, dad and grandfather and loved spending time doing yard work.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his former wife; also his wives, Beedie and Gladys, two sons, Jerry and Ed Jr., four daughters, Patsy, Nadine, Bonnie and Connie, and granddaughter, Dena.

Survivors include his sons, Gary and David, daughters, Ruth (Charles) Fears of Illinois; Rita, Alice, Diane, and Beatrice; 28 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and great- great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Reverend Marty Spurlock officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery with Emerson Funeral Home in charge.

Visitation will be from 1:00 PM on Tuesday, until service time.
