Randall Alan “Randy” Dunnam, 51, of Jonesboro, passed away Monday evening at his home.
Born in Greenville, Mississippi, Randy lived in Carruthersville, Missouri, before moving to Jonesboro in 1971. He was a 1981 graduate of Jonesboro High School and a 1987 graduate of Arkansas State University where he received a BS degree in Printing.
Randy worked 25 years in the Printing industry. He was a member of Friendly Hope Baptist Church where he served as deacon and former chairman of the Building and Grounds committee. Randy was an avid ASU Redwolves fan and was preceded in death by his father, Cecil Dunnam and his father-in-law, Johnnie Junior Pierce.
Survivors include his wife of 27 years, Teresa Pierce Dunnam of the home;
1 son, Adam Dunnam of Jonesboro;
2 daughters: Sarah Dunnam and Rachel Dunnam, both of the home;
His mother, Audrey Dunnam Staten of Jonesboro;
1 sister, Karen Dunnam Simpson of Jonesboro; and
3 brothers: Bill Dunnam of Jonesboro, Bob Dunnam of Branson, Missouri, and Tom Dunnam of Milledgeville, Georgia.
Funeral services will be held Thursday morning at 10:00 in Emerson Memorial Chapel with Pastor Bobby Barnett officiating. Private burial will be in Pierce Cemetery.
Active pallbearers include fellow deacons Randall Pierce, Mark Bowers and James Pierce and James Locke, Eric Isbill, Chris Thompson and Kevin Graves. Honorary pallbearers will be Tony Files and Steve Simpson.
Visitation will be Wednesday evening, 5-8, at Emerson Funeral Home.
