Randall Dale Montgomery

Randall Dale Montgomery, 68 of Bono passed from this life Friday September 21, 2018 at his home. He was born in Jonesboro, October 10, 1949 to Sterlin and Mabel Simms Montgomery.  He worked at Lincoln Manfacturing and American Home Patient where he retired.  He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army who served in Vietnam.  Randall enjoyed fishing,  raising exotic birds, gardening and cooking.  He loved and cared for his family and he was always willing to help someone.   He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Inez and his brother David.

Survivors include his brother, Robert Montgomery (Betty) of Bono; sisters, Nelda Adams (Russell) of Bono; Margarett Gatlin (Bill); special friend, Shirley Parnell; sister-in-law, Kathy Montgomery of Jonesboro.

Visitation will be Friday, September 28, 2018  from 5-7pm at Emerson Funeral Home.  The service will be Saturday, September 29, 2018 at 10am at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Kathleen McMurray officiating.  Burial will follow at New Hope Cemetery  off hwy 141.

Pallbearers include Rick Dement, Bryan Dement, Chris Parnell, Robbie Montgomery, Hunter Neal and Michael Montgomery.
