Randall Charles “Randy” Long, age 48, of Jonesboro, Arkansas, died Sunday morning at St Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro.
Born in Torrance, California, on January 12, 1958, Mr. Long lived in Arizona before moving to Jonesboro in 1989. He was a C.N.C. Programmer for Hytrol Conveyor Company in Jonesboro and was a member of the Baptist Church.
He was a graduate of Superior, Arizona High School and was an avid football player and fan. He was preceded in death by his parents: Russell and Ruth Mae McDonald Turnipseed; and by a son: Joshua Charles Long, who died in 1994.

His Wife: Donna Robbins Long of the home;
2 Stepsons: Bobby McClure of Princeton, Texas, and
Keith Bowden of Pine Bluff, Arkansas;
1 Brother: Eugene Long of Moreno Valley, California;
1 Sister: Tina Byrd of Gold Canyon, Arizona; and
2 Grandchildren: Kristen McClure, and
Joshua McClure, both of Texas.
2 Aunts: Jewel Newton, and
Betty Foster, both of Jonesboro;
1 Uncle: Odis McDonald of Jonesboro;
1 Niece: Jessica Byrd of Gold Canyon, Arizona;
1 Nephew: Donnie Byrd of Arizona; and
2 Faithful Family Dogs, Rebel and Cisco.
Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 5-7 at Emerson Funeral Home in Jonesboro.
Private burial services will be in the Easley Cemetery near Gurdon, Arkansas.
