Ramona E. Heern

March 1, 1931 — July 31, 2006

Ramona E. Heern, 75 of Jonesboro, died Monday, July 31, 2006, at NEA Medical Center. She was born in Jonesboro and had lived her entire life here. She was a member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, a member of the Covenant Sunday School Class and a member of the Happy Club.

Ramona was a member of the Order of Eastern Star and was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde Greenwood and Opal Smith, and one sister, Imogene Bezdezski.

Rebecca (Mrs. Mike) Peterson, and Cheryl Pec both of Princeton, Minnesota.

Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, August 2, 2006 at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Rev. John Soward, Rev. Patty Soward and Rev. Bonnie Sutton officiating with burial to follow at Strawfloor Cemetery and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers are Casey Noell, Jesse Noell, Eric Noell, Douglas McElvain, Jason Wagner, and Bobby Phillips. Honorary pallbearers are the Covenant Sunday School Class of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church.

For those wishing to leave lasting memorials, the family request you please consider the St. Paul’s United Methodist Church Youth Group, 2201 S. Culberhouse, Jonesboro, Arkansas 72401. Visitation will be from 5 - 7 Tuesday night at Emerson Funeral Home.
