Ramon Hernandez-Rocha

Ramon Hernandez-Rocha, 85, of Jonesboro formerly of Delano, California passed away Friday, January 12, 2024 at his home. He was born January 28, 1938 in Michoacán, Mexico to the late Francisco and Juventina Hernandez. Ramon was of the Catholic Faith. He enjoyed being at home, spending time with family, boxing, western movies, and baking. Before moving to Arkansas, Ramon worked for a vineyard in California.

In addition to his parents, Ramon was preceded in death by is wife, Esperanza Hernandez and 2 brothers, Herlindo Hernandez and Francisco Hernandez.

Survivors include his 9 children: Agustin Hernandez, Francisco Hernandez, Eduardo Hernandez, Juan Daniel Hernandez, Teresa Hernandez, Juana Hernandez, Irma Hernandez, Celia Hernandez and Rosario Hernandez; brother, Trinidad Hernandez; sister, Angelina Hernandez and 23 grandchildren all of Jonesboro.

Memorial service will be Saturday, January 20, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. in Emerson Memorial Chapel with Sergio Blanco officiating.

Visitation will be from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. prior to the service.
