Ralph Edward Taylor, 90, of Jonesboro, passed away September 3, 2022 at his daughter’s home in Jonesboro. Ralph was the 5 th of 8 children born to Clarence Cleveland and Margie Bell Johnson Taylor of Black Oak, AR. He was preceded in death earlier this year by his wife Mary Bushong Taylor.
Ralph was a Master Mason, and served in the US Airforce from 1950 – 1954. During the Korean War, he was stationed in Alaska as a radar operator. He received the National Defense Service Medal and Good Conduct Medal during his service. He retired from GE in Jonesboro after 30 years of service. Ralph was an overachiever; farming, accounting, and doing taxes for others while he was employed at GE.

Survivors include his daughters, Debbie (Doug) Cousins, Pam (Danny) Goad; step-daughters, Debbie Mclaughlin and Kathy Prine; adopted son, Jonathan Mclaughlin; 11 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and his dog Maggie.
A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
