Ralph C. DeGolyer, 85, of Monette, died Wednesday, February 3, 2016, his residence. He had lived in Northeast Arkansas since 1981. Ralph was of the Seventh-Day Adventist belief. He served his country in the US Army during the Korean War. He was a previous nursing home administrator in Indiana for many years. He retired from the Jonesboro Human Development Center where he worked as a caregiver. Ralph had a love for antiques. He loved to purchase, restore and resale items he had found. He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and two brothers.
Survivors include his wife of three-years, Mary Kaye DeGolyer, of the home; son, Seiji Jimmy DeGolyer (Caroline) of Conway; daughters, Donna Miller (John) of Logansville, Georgia; Earleen DeGolyer of Morgantown W. Virginia; Sherri DeGolyer and Carla DeGolyer of Muncie, Indiana; thirteen grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 2:00 P.M., Saturday, February, 13, 2016 at the Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 2317 W. Washington, Jonesboro, Arkansas 72401 with Ann Nuckles and Abraham Velazquez officiating. Emerson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. There will be no public visitation and burial will be private.
