Priscilla "Christy" Duffel

Priscilla Christina Duffel “Christy”, 65, of Jonesboro departed this life on Wednesday, September 6, 2023 at the Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House surrounded by her family and friends. She was born February 8, 1958 to the late Charles Aaron Proctor, Jr. and Joyce Edwards Pounders in Wynne, AR.

Christy fulfilled the role of a pastor’s wife at Family Fellowship Baptist Church and her passion of leading the women’s ministry. Christy enjoyed decorating cakes, painting, and tending her flowers. She relished her time with her grandchildren loving them “to the moon and back”.

In addition to her parents, Christy is preceded in death by; one sister Janet Vondran.

She is survived by; her husband of 50 years Ferrel Duffel of the home; two sons, Michael Jeremy Duffel of Jonesboro, Phillip Aaron Duffel (Patricia) of Monette; one daughter, Jennifer Rhea Hamilton (Bo) of Cabot; one brother Ronnie Proctor (Kathy) of Dardanelle, AR; five grandchildren, Braedyn, Jaxson, Gauge, Olivia, and Lynlee Duffel; and a lifetime of friends.

Visitation will be 1:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m., Saturday, September 9, 2023 at Family Fellowship Baptist Church with funeral services to follow beginning at 2:30 p.m. Burial will be at Pine Log Cemetery with Bro. Jared Russell officiating. Active pallbearers will include Robbie Veach, Caleb Findlay, Monte Middleton, Paul Hicks, Ricky Burdin, Butch Ellison, and Braedyn Duffel.
