Phillip Wilson Meurer, 53, of rural Jonesboro, died Saturday evening, November 17, 2007, at his home of natural causes.
Born in Jonesboro, Phil lived most of his life in the Jonesboro-Bono area. He worked several years as a supervisor for Quebecor World Press in Jonesboro before becoming disabled. He was a member of Full Gospel Tabernacle in Trumann and a 1972 graduate of Westside High School.

His wife: Anna Meurer of the home;
His parents: Lawrence “Jack” and Veta Meurer of Bono;
3 Sons: Anthony Swindle and
Timothy Swindle, both of Jonesboro, and
Rodney Meurer of South Carolina;
1 Daughter: April Meurer of South Carolina;
3 Brothers: Walter Meurer of Clarksville,
Paul Meurer of Osceola, and
Roger Meurer of Scotch Plains, New Jersey;
5 Grandchildren: Jason Swindle, Skylar Swindle, Ruby Ann Swindle,
Garrett Swindle and Hailey-Dawn Swindle.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday evening at 7:00 at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Kenny Green officiating. Burial will be private.
Visitation will be held Tuesday evening, 5-7, at Emerson Funeral Home.
