Phillip Kent Smith

Phillip Kent Smith, age 66, passed from this life on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at St. Bernard’s Hospital in Jonesboro, AR. Phil was born to Zula & Hubert Smith in Ogden, Utah in 1952. He graduated from Jonesboro High School & attended Arkansas State University.

Phil was very active in the theater and musical arts, performing in many productions at ASU, The Forum Community Theater, as well as leading roles in Summer Stock Productions. He had a passion for both theater and music, possessing a powerful baritone voice.

Phil is survived by a brother and sister-in-law Hugh & Diane Smith of Spokane, WA, a sister and brother-in-law, Toni & Nelson Forrest of Columbia, SC & a sister, brother-in law, Terry & Larry Parrish & nephew, Robert Dewitt of Jonesboro, AR, as well as other family members.

A private family burial service to be arranged will be held at Center Hill Cemetery in Paragould, AR.
