Perkasa Ardasyir Nuhung, 50, of Jonesboro, passed away Friday at St. Bernards Medical Center.
Born in Jakarta, Indonesia, Perkasa moved to San Diego in 1986 and then to Searcy in 1987. He was a graduate of Harding University in Searcy and moved to Jonesboro in 1994. He has been an employee of St. Bernard's Medical Center for almost 13 years.
Perkasa was a member of Central Baptist Church where he was a member of the Nier Life Group. He enjoyed golfing, playing the piano and guitar, and oil painting. He was preceded in death by his father, H. Achmad Nuhung.
Survivors include his wife of 20 years, Ilsia Flores Nuhung of the home;
his mother, Hj. Siti Mugni of Indonesia;
one daughter, Arianna Ilsia Nuhung of the home;
one son, Joseph Usman Nuhung of the home;
4 brothers: H. Prima Darius Nuhung, Rahmad Fajar Nuhung, H. Mohammad Saladin Nuhung and Fatkur Rahman Nuhung; and
2 sisters: Johar Manik Nuhung and Mutiara Sari Nuhung, all of Indonesia.
Visitation will be 10:00-11:00 Saturday at Central Baptist Church in Jonesboro. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the church with Dr. Archie Mason and Jason Nier officiating. Burial will follow in Kellers Chapel Cemetery.
Pallbearers include Jeremy Anderson, Jason Nier, Luis Flores, Tommy Thompson, Abel Solorzano, Danny Morris and Gary Riney.
