Peggy Womack

Peggy Womack, 84 of Jonesboro passed from this life Sunday, January 6, 2019 at her home.  She was born March 13, 1934 to Tan and Hermie Miller McCoy in Hayti, Missouri.   Peggy had worked in food service at ASU.  She loved her grandchildren and enjoyed going to their school events.  She also enjoyed fishing and going to Florida.  Peggy was a member of Nettleton Baptist Church.  She is preceded in death by her parents, 4 siblings and several nieces and nephews.

Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Wallace Womack; daughter, Toni Johnson (Paul) of Paragould; step-daughters, Brenna Williams, Diane Harvey; step-son, Kenneth Wayne Womack.  Grandchildren, Chris Johnson and Breanna Johnson; step-grandchildren, Jackie Layers, Clifton Williams, Kirk Williams and Penny Williams; 12 step great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Tuesday, January 8, 2019 from 1-2 PM at Emerson Memorial Chapel with service starting at 2 PM.  George Williamson will be officiating.  Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be family and friends.
