Peggy Gunn Scholl

Peggy Gunn Scholl, 79, of Jonesboro died Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at NEA Baptist Health System. She had lived in Northeast Arkansas for over 40 years. She was of the Christian Belief. Peggy retired from the Greene County Sheriff’s Department. She worked in the food industry for many years, later becoming a certified dietitian. Peggy was preceded in death by her parents and one son, Billy Gunn.

Survivors include her sons, Kenny Gunn of Nashville, Tennessee; Ricky Gunn of Paragould; daughters, Vicki Kuykendall of Jonesboro; Joyce Goben of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; brother, Sonny Coy (Christine) of Dixie, Arkansas; sisters, Sherri Coffman of Jonesboro, Joan Baker of Charlotte, North Carolina;11 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5-7 Friday, January 15, 2016 at Emerson Funeral Home. All other services will be private.
