Peggy A. Roebuck, 70, of Jonesboro, passed away Tuesday morning June 26, 2007, at her residence.
She was born in Gould, Arkansas and had lived in Jonesboro since 1961, moving here from Trumann, Arkansas.
She was a homemaker and a member of Grace Baptist Church, and was preceded in death by her parents, Clell Light and Martha Nelson Light, and one brother; David Light.
She is survived by her loving husband of forty nine years, Gene Roebuck of the home.
Two sons; Russell Gene Roebuck and his wife, Gwen of Cave City, Arkansas.
Randall Wayne Roebuck and his wife, Kelly of Bentonville, Arkansas.
Two brothers, Richard Light of Burnsville, North Carolina.
William Light of Jonesboro
Three sisters, Mary Nolan of Gould, Arkansas.
Shelby Morton of Dumas, Arkansas.
Anita Landers of Cave City, Arkansas.
Six grandchildren; Hillary, Rebecca, Bethany, Rachael, Alex, and Katy Roebuck.
Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Friday June 29, at the Grace Baptist Church, with Reverend Verlon Wood and Reverend George Raley officiating. Burial will follow in Nettleton Cemetery. Emerson Funeral Home of Jonesboro in charge of arrangements.
Visitation will be from 5-7 P.M. Thursday, June 28, at Emerson Funeral Home in Jonesboro.
Active pallbearers will be Larry Catt, Bryan Taylor, Jerry Eldridge, Boyce Bonham, Gordon Shannon and Ron Johnson.
Family request that lasting memorial be made to the St. Bernards Hospice, 225 E. Jackson Jonesboro, Arkansas 72401 or Grace Baptist Church Youth Fund, 3930 Aggie Road, Jonesboro, Arkansas 72401.
