Peggy J. Kiech, age 74, of Jonesboro, Arkansas, died Monday morning, March 6, 2006, at her home of natural causes.
Peggy was born in Jonesboro February 25, 1932, to Euell and Corrine Carter Reid, and lived most of her life in the Nettleton-Jonesboro area. She was retired from General Electric in Jonesboro and was a member of the Nettleton United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leland Kiech, by a son, Harlowe Kiech, by a sister, Patty Reid, and a brother, Jerry Reid.
Survivors include:
1 Son: Jerry Kiech of Dunnellon, Florida;
3 Sisters: Linda Riley of Memphis, and
Sandra Kay Purdon, and
Janet Rutherford, both of Fayetteville;
3 Grandchildren: Travis Kiech, Tonya Kiech, and Blaine Kiech;
6 Great Grandchildren: Hayden Kiech, Ian Kiech, Travon Brown,
Kolby Kiech, Haley Kiech and Rianna Kiech.
Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2:00 at Nettleton United Methodist Church with Craig Miller, Guy Whitney and Harmon Whitehurst officiating. Burial will follow in Nettleton Cemetery.
Active pallbearers include: Jeff Johnson, Dan Johnson, Brad Smith, Timothy Hardin,
Chris Mitchell, and Todd Doyle.
Honorary pallbearers include: Brooks Griffith, Bill Riley, Johnny Moore,
Neal Moore, and Buddy Showalter.
Visitation will be held Wednesday evening from 6-8 at Emerson Funeral Home in Jonesboro.
