Peggy Freeman

Peggy Freeman, 74, of Jonesboro, formerly of Bay, passed from this life Saturday, December 13, 2014 at St. Bernards Medical Center. Peggy was born in Jonesboro to the late Milas and Louise Gulley on April 9, 1940. She had an in home day care for many years before co-owning Raggedy Ann Day Care in Bay. Peggy was a member of the Bay Church of Christ. She loved her family and spending time with her grandchildren. Peggy enjoyed working in her yard.

In addition to her parents, Peggy was preceded in death by her husband Bill Freeman, 3 brothers and 1 sister.

Survivors include 3 sons: Rick (Jerri) of Bay, Nick (Tammy) of Jonesboro, Rodney (Deana) of Jonesboro, 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 16, 2014 from 12:00-2:30 pm in Emerson Memorial Chapel. Funeral service will follow at 2:30 pm with Mark Brewer officiating. Burial will follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery with Bill Ballard, Kenny Vestal, Roger Elrod, Randy Onstead, Todd Onstead, and Wayne Gulley serving as active pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Stanley Gulley and Extended Family Home Health Agency.
