Peggy D. Myatt

Peggy Myatt, 57, of Cash, died Thursday, April 22, 2010, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro.

Born in Ponca City, Oklahoma, Peggy lived much of her life in the Cash area. She was a homemaker and a member of the Cash Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her mother, Maxine Lamb Casteel.

Survivors include her husband, Alvin Myatt, of the home;

4 sons and their wives: Michael and Misti Myatt of Jonesboro, Andrew and Sherrie Myatt of Bono, Shawn and Charity Myatt of Katy, Texas, and Shane and Jonna Myatt of Denton, Texas;

Her father and his wife: Jim and Eunice Casteel of Huntsville, Arkansas;

1 brother: James Michael “Mike” Casteel of Huntsville;

2 step brothers: Jim Montgomery of Jonesboro and David Casteel of Huntsville;
3 step sisters: Judy Montgomery of Jonesboro, Debbie Casteel of Huntsville, and Lynn Montgomery of Taos, New Mexico; and

8 grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held Saturday afternoon at 3:00 in Cash Baptist Church with Terry Simmons officiating. Burial will be private.

Visitation will follow the service at the church.

For lasting memorials, the family asks that consideration be given to the American Diabetes Association.
