Pearlie (Woods) Pyles

Pearlie M. (Woods) Pyles, 89, of Jonesboro passed from this life on Wednesday June 28, at her home. She had lived in Jonesboro for 13 years moving here from Bay. She was of the Pentecostal belief and a retired CNA from Craighead County Nursing Home.

She was preceded in death by her son, John Smith, 3 sisters, Merle Wooten, Louvia Green and Ruth Beard.

Survived by her sons; Walter Smith of Trumann, Ray Woods (Connie) of Bay, John Woods (Linda) of Proctor and Ricky Woods of Jonesboro.
Daughters, Myrtle Minton of Mt. Ida, Arkansas, Dixie Clairday (J.L. jr.) of Bay, Margie Reed (Ronald) of Dixie, Merle Lyles (R.C.) of Bay, Pearl Harwood of Jonesboro and Brenda Deckelman of Jonesboro.
14 step children, 115 grandchildren, 48 great grandchildren and 16 great- great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday July 1, in Emerson Memorial Chapel with Pastor Mark A. Rutherford officiating. Burial will be in the Oakridge Cemetery with Emerson Funeral Home in charge.

Visitation will be held from 5-7 on Friday June 30, in Emerson Memorial Chapel.

Pallbearers will be Thomas White Jr, Hubert Midkiff, Shane Woods, Bryan Sims, Nicholas Woods and Cody Fojt.
