Pauline Williams Grady

Pauline Williams Grady, 81, of Jonesboro, died Friday morning at St. Bernard’s Medical Center in Jonesboro.

Born near Batesville, Mrs. Grady lived much of her life in Newport before moving to Jonesboro eight years ago. She owned and operated Pauline’s Dress and Casual Shop in Newport for several years before retiring.

She was a past Grand Warder in Order of the Eastern Star, and was a member of the Nettleton Baptist Church where she was a member of the Fidelis 2 Sunday School class, and the Senior Adult Choir.

She was preceded in death by her husband: O.L.”Cotton” Grady; by a daughter:
Pat Morris; and by a brother: Chester Williams.

Survivors include:

1 Daughter: Grace Troutman of Jonesboro;

1 Brother: Lawrence Williams of Batesville;

1 Sister: Jan Cathcart of Jonesboro; and

4 Grandchildren: Eugene McNeely of Hot Springs,
Kim Eskola of Little Rock,
Twyla Spears of Marion, and
K.Kae Vangilder of Tallahassee, Florida; and

5 Great Grandchildren: Hunter Eskola, Trent Eskola, Lili Vangilder,
Makinzy Vangilder, and Krissy Spears.

Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 1:00 at Nettleton Baptist Church with Bro. Stan Ballard officiating. A graveside committal service will be held at 3:30 in Walnut Grove Cemetery at Newport with Emerson Funeral Home in charge.

Active pallbearers include Ira Pierce, Gene McNeely, Bill Breeden, Rick Crawford,
Sonny Grady and Shane Grady.

Honorary pallbearers include members of the Fidelis 2 Sunday School class,
Kathleen Clay and Vern Ballard.

Visitation will be held Sunday evening from 5-7 at Emerson Funeral Home in Jonesboro.
