Pauline Coleman of Jonesboro went home to be with Jesus on April 7, 2022. She joined her husband Jimmy, her mother Violet, and dad Clyde in heaven. She was born June 22, 1941, in Dryden, Arkansas, grew up in Cash, Arkansas, and moved to Jonesboro in 1959, when she married Jimmy. She and Jimmy had 3 children, Wayde Coleman of Piedmont, Oklahoma, Pam Coleman Barton of Jonesboro, and Scott (Shera Crawford) Coleman of Paragould, Arkansas. Pauline was co-owner with her husband Jimmy of three successful businesses The Donut Shop, The Totem Pole Restaurant and Pawn, and Jim’s Pawn Shop. She is survived by three brothers, Carl Myatt of Michigan, Jolly Myatt of Walnut Ridge, and Alvin Myatt of Cash; six grandkids, Aaron Barton of Jonesboro, Alex Barton of Jonesboro, Jeremy Coleman of Oklahoma City, Jessika Coleman Prucha of Newcastle, Oklahoma, Gabe Coleman of Jonesboro, and Millie Crawford of Paragould. She also had 6 great-grandkids who loved her along with her family and friends. She loved traveling and especially loved going to the beach. Her fondest memories were when she and her adopted sister Viola Darr went to Gulf Shores together. She will be missed by everyone who knew her because of her love of life, wonderful smile, love of family, and love of travel.
There will be a Celebration of Life Service at the Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel Mausoleum beginning at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, April 12, 2022. A private service will begin at 2:30 for immediate family.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to one of her favorite charities, St. Jude’s Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Shriner’s Children Hospitals, or Arkansas Children’s Hospital.
